This track is a testament of how the culture of Go-Go music has made a positive influence on many of the youth in the DMV, despite all the negative narratives…the beat goes on.
Washington D.C. native MOE always loved music. Performing with local bands as a teenage prodigy on the local Go-Go scene. He crafted his skills which led to producing jingles for local businesses. His talent along with creativity is displayed in his EP “the rise of a go-go genre”. He wrote and produced the project in 2012. The tracks are filled with horn solo’s and funky guitar improvisations. His unique grooves got a lot of flavor!
